References. An analytical and experimental study of the effect of circulating irrigation on energy efficiency and clarity of fractionation of products in a complex distillation column has been carried out. The design and operational aspects of the operating mode of circulating irrigation, which affect the results of operation and the quality of the products obtained in the column, are analyzed. The results showed that an increase in the flow rate of the liquid phase in the zone of circulating irrigation and a corresponding decrease in the temperature difference between the selection and return of the flow of circulating irrigation to a value not exceeding sixty degrees Celsius (∆T ≤ 60 °C) while maintaining the level of thermal load, contributes to an increase in the clarity of fractionation according to the indicator (5-95) GAP between the side products, as well as It leads to an increase in the degree of heat recovery due to an increase in the ratio of hot flow to cold flow from 0.25 to 0.5 or more.
