Abstract. The article provides an overview of various alkylation technologies, among which the technology of sulfuric acid alkylation remains traditional. The classical version of the fractionation scheme of sulfuric acid alkylation products, which are a mixture of propane, isobutane, n-butane and, in fact, alkylate gases into individual components, was chosen as the object of research in order to improve the technological scheme to reduce energy consumption and increase the yield of individual hydrocarbons isobutane and normal butane.
In the process of working on the topic, research methods such as analysis and synthesis were used, thanks to which a conclusion is drawn about the stability and optimality of the work of the object under study, modeling, the tasks of which are solved in this article using the Unisim Design software, and comparative analysis.
The modernization of the scheme makes it possible to increase the yield of the isobutane fraction and the alkylbenzine fraction, while maintaining the quality of the latter. The reduction of the thermal load according to the modernized scheme indicates an improvement in the energy efficiency of the sulfuric acid alkylation process, which has a beneficial effect on the economic side of the process and is one of the necessary conditions for making a decision on the possibility of implementing this configuration on an industrial scale.
