Abstract. The article discusses the use of organoaluminum (AOC) and organic peroxide (OP) compounds in the synthesis of polyolefins and rubbers. It is shown that AOC have an increased fire and explosion hazard, which is characterized by such indicators as the ability to spontaneous combustion in the open air (pyrophoricity) and the explosive nature of interaction with water, while OP are characterized by instability and a tendency to self-accelerating decomposition. It is noted that the existing Russian regulatory framework does not contain requirements in the field of design, construction and operation of facilities using AOC and OP warehouses.
